Grilled Green Tomatoes with Basil-Lime Seasoning

Ingredients
3 large green tomatoes, thickly sliced
1 lime, zest and juice
2 Tbs fresh basil, chopped
1/2 tsp flaky sea salt
1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
1/4 tsp chipotle powder
extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling
whole basil leaves, for serving
Directions
- Heat grill to high. Spray with nonstick spray. Place tomato slices on the grill. Grill for 1 minute per side.
- Transfer tomatoes to a serving platter. Squeeze lime juice over both sides of tomatoes.
- In a small bowl, combine the lime zest, chopped basil, salt, pepper and chipotle powder. Sprinkle over the tomatoes. Drizzle with oil. Top with basil leaves.
